How The Auction Works
First, ensure you receive an invitation by sending us your name and address at fsc@carolina.rr.com
When you arrive at the auction, you'll register and be given your bid number. This number will be used to track your bids and prepare your final statement for the items you have won.
Early in the evening, you'll stroll around, munching on refreshments and enjoying a beverage (cash bar) while viewing the selections. You'll find sheets near each display describing the item, and this is where you write down your bid. You may increaseyour bid at any time since you can easily see what the curent high bid is.
Sections of the auction will begin closing at 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes until all sections are closed. Announcements will be made about which sections are about to close. When a section is closed, the highest bidder for each item wins the item.
It promises to be a great party! We hope you'll stay until all the items have sold (there may be an opportunity for live bidding, who knows?) and enjoy an evening of fun and friends and a few surprise celebrities. We will be able to accept cash, checks and Visa/MasterCard.
There will always be last minute additions, so keep checking this web site! Descriptions and more auction details will be included in our printed catalog.
